Thanks for participating in a great event!

Thanks to everyone who came out today to participate in or volunteer at the Perth Triathlon!

There were :

• 45 Individual Classic Triathlon competitors
• 22 Individual Double Triathlon competitors
• 21 Team Triathlon competitors

For a total of about 130 participants. It was great to see old and young, high tech and a few very low tech bikes, competitive and non-competitive participants! The addition of the double Tri this year was quite popular and the feedback received says that we will do it again!

Again, the pies and cookies and fudge were a HUGE hit for the prizes :-) Thanks to the bakers!

A big thanks to sponsors - Dr. Shiobhan Muldowney, and Monty Doyle who provided $$, to buy medals and timing chips. 

Also thanks to Colleen at the pool and Town of Perth for helping with the venue and guards.
